Torque Limiters & ECU Torque Management
Torque management is one part of how the engine and transmission work together. When researching torque-limiter removal, it is more useful to discuss the complete calibration and the reason for the restriction than to assume that all limits should simply be deleted.
Consider the whole drivetrain
An ECU calibration request needs to account for the engine, gearbox and supporting hardware. The vehicle's existing software and any previous remapping should be identified. A torque figure that appears in another vehicle's specification is not, by itself, a target for yours.
Explain whether you are asking about a performance change, inconsistent power delivery or a fault. Those are different starting points. A car that is limiting performance unexpectedly needs its symptoms and diagnostic information considered before a revised tune is discussed.
Send a useful specification
Include the model, engine, gearbox, modifications and intended use. If you already have ECU identification or diagnostic results, mention them in your enquiry. GAD Tuning can discuss your requirements and confirm the scope and setting of any proposed work, including whether mobile tuning is appropriate.
